“Uh, no.”
“I need it to research your website issue.”
“Can I trust you?”
“Didn’t you call us?”
“Yes.”
“We’ve hosted your website for ten years.”
“And?”
Sigh. “I’ll need your password to help you.”

About this Story
Since the mid-2000s, I’ve had websites through Bluehost.com (not an affiliate link). For the most part, their help desk support has been very good to me. However, the writer in me likes to imagine phone conversations that these tech support folks might experience during their busy days, and this silly, tiny story was born. The photo below captures what I think the help desk guy was feeling after he hung up on the customer.

I love this story, Jenise. We're told never to give our passwords to anyone. I'd be reluctant, even if I had called tech support! I'm with the caller on this, though I'm always polite to customer service and techs. They take a lot of undeserved abuse.
