We all need to focus on what needs attention at the time! I had a friend who said, "There is a season and a reason:)" Hugs.

I’m happy to hear you’re doing okay, Jenise, and choosing to spend your time with those you love most. It’s how we were meant to live: offline! Take care, my friend. Be well! 😊

Thank you, Justin! My winter garden is small but productive. My DH and I have planned our Thanksgiving menu that we’ll cook together. And, my offline community is well. I’ll catch up on reading your works soon. Enjoy your family and your students!

I felt everything about this post. Hoping to work my way north in the new year and meet up in the old fashioned way.

Would love that, Amie! The fall colors are still here in many places in town. Soon, snow will transform the mountains into a winter wonderland. 😊

Grief is a long slow process. Don't try to go around it. Take your time. We will still be here.

Taking breaks is essential. Especially when you feel uninspired. I don’t buy the “power through” mentality. Unless writing is your job, be kind to yourself and live/enjoy life. It’s more important than writing.

Wise words, Mark, thank you. We are celebrating life, and it’s liberating (for now) to just enjoy it. Just be in each moment. 😊
